Au nenumarate campanii de protectia mediului, promoveaza reciclarea pet-urilor, au micsorat cantitatea de plastic folosita la un singur pet, sustin proiecte pe tema dezvoltarii durabile etc. &lt;br /&gt;In supermarketuri, de un an incoace toata lumea se duce cu punga la cumparaturi. De ce? Pentru ca acum pungile de plastic se dau contra cost, s-a introdus conceptul de eco taxa si daca se poate sa venim cu sacosa de acasa si sa nu mai platim, atunci se prefera aceasta varianta.Rezultatul? La noi nu am gasit facuta o statistica, desi probabil ca ea exista sau cel putin ar trbui, insa in Hong Kong, de exemplu, eco taxa a avut drept rezultat reducerea consumului de pungi de plastic cu 85%.&lt;br /&gt;La fel s-ar putea proceda si in cazul bauturilor. De ce nu sunt inlocuite pet-urile cu sticle returnabile si etichetele de plastic cu cele de hartie? Din contra, pana si etichetele de hartie au fost inlocuite cu cele de plastic. Daca pentru violenta conjugala, copiii abandonati, exploatarea minorilor sau alte probleme sociale exista feedbak, omul de rand prezinta intelegere, devenind chiar empatic pentru moment cu victimele, in cazul mediului, problema este mai abstracta, iar raul provocat nu afecteaza pe moment pe nici unul dintre acesti cetateni egoisti. Oamenii au nevoie de beneficiul imediat al actiunii lor, ori in cazul mediului, un proces de incetinire a degradarii lui nu este un rezultat satisfacator pentru multi. &lt;br /&gt;De aceea, s-a cautat o motivare pozitiva sau negativa. Noi, cei din jurul lor, ne uitam urat cand isi arunca resturile de la sandwich pe jos, ii hulim, le atragem atentia ca le-a picat ceva pe jos cu riscul de a primi injuraturile de rigoare, iar in campaniile de protectie a mediului, cum a fost cea initiata de Tuborg - Umbrela verde, le sunt impartite stickere de lipit pe masina cu mesajul : "Eu nu arunc gunoi pe strada!". E genial, cred ca va functiona cu siguranta! De acum, acesti cetateni sunt in vizor, sticker-ul odata lipit, nu se mai pot preta la aruncarea pungii de plastic pe geam, sticker-ul i-a pozitionat undeva in lumea buna si ei stiu asta, astfel infranandu-si de fiecare data reflexul de a se descotorosi de resturi la semafor.
